BIMobject recruits to expand in Eastern Europe

Kornel Kovacs, Senior Business Manager, BIMobject
MUNICH/MALMĂ–, April 16, 2013 -- The demand for digital content for BIM in the design process is increasing rapidly.  It is now more important than ever that both the construction and furniture manufacturers can create digital replicas of their products, using a cost efficient and manageable approach. These actions are made in order to make their products visible early in the process and create availability towards architects and planners.

To meet the increased demand, BIMobject® has recruited another experienced professional as Senior Business Manager located in Munich, Germany. Kornel Kovacs has more than a decade of experience within sales of BIM systems. His most recent position was as a leader of a Hungarian software company, where his area of responsibility was sales and channel management for the emerging European markets.

"With Kornel Kovacs, we have managed to recruit a colleague who possesses an extensive network within our target markets in Eastern Europe. We are confident that we can continue to expand at the current pace in the future, because development shows significant signs of this. We have high hopes for this development even in the Eastern parts of Europe,” says Johannes Reischböck, COO of BIMobject® Germany.

BIMobject® is a game changer for the construction industry worldwide with its cloud based Portal offering development, maintenance and syndication of digital replicas – BIM objects – of manufactured building and interior products.

The marketing and pre-sales services associated with the Portal are channeled and integrated, through specialized software, into CAD/BIM applications to create a business-to-business communication across the globe.

Manufacturers use BIMobject® to promote and deliver their products directly into BIM processes enabling their products to be selected and generate a measurable improvement in sales.

BIMobject® chosen as 2013 Red Herring Top 100 Europe winner

AMSTERDAM, April 11, 2013 -- Red Herring announced its Top 100 award winners today, recognizing Europe’s leading private companies and celebrating these startups’ innovations and technologies across their respective industries.

Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe list has become a mark of distinction for identifying promising new companies and entrepreneurs. Red Herring’s editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, and eBay would change the way we live and work.

“Selecting startups that show the most potential for disruption and growth is never easy,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “We looked at hundreds and hundreds of candidates from all across the continent, and after much thought and debate, narrowed the list down to the Top 100 Winners. Each year, the competition gets tougher but we believe BIMobject AB demonstrates the vision, drive and innovation that define a Red Herring winner.”

"On behalf of Red Herring, congratulations on being selected as one of this year's Red Herring Top 100 Europe.  We screened hundreds of companies for the award so your achievement is no small feat," says Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring.

Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated the companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation, management quality, overall business strategy and market penetration. This assessment was complemented by a review of the track records and standings of similar startups in the same verticals, allowing Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in Europe.
