We've been experimenting with the plugin and importing into Artlantis. So far, so good. The use of materials is a great bonus, as it makes it a lot easier on the "render-people" to identify which material goes where.

Only downside: it seems that the model is converted into triangular polygons, which leads to impressive filesizes. (One relatively simple model with a lot of windows came up to 180MB!) Is there a way to work around this?

Hello Oliver,

Yes Artlantis managed triangles. The matter is not the weight of the atl file size, but how many polygons Artlantis can handle until now we have succeed to open a data base of more than 25 millions polygons, and the navigation was still fluide… Does Revit managed such a huge data base?
