President, ARCHVISTA Building Technologies
Location: Online
Description:
When visualizing a building or an interior space, designers often show soft illustrations in the early design phase and realistic renderings in the final phase. This webinar will review technologies that allow the designer to use a 3D model to produce both illustration, photo-realistic renderings and simulated light. We will review the pros and cons of each software program as well as strategies for how to use this technology as part of the design process.
The rendering technologies to be reviewed are as follows...
- Piranesi - designed for developing illustration style renderings and visualization.
- Artlantis Studio - designed for developing photorealistic radiosity based images as part of the design workflow.
- Maxwell Render™ - designed as a physically correct, unbiased rendering engine capable of simulating light as in the real world
