We are pleased to announce that the alpha version of Artlantis 3 64-bit is now available for downloading here.
This version is dedicated to those Artlantis 3 users who are working with large databases and experience memory saturation during the calculation of renderings.
The 64-bit version can access physical memory (RAM) above the 4 GB range,
which is not the case with the Artlantis 32-bit version.
The 64-bit version can access physical memory (RAM) above the 4 GB range,

This alpha version is delivered as is, and users are invited to use it at their own risk. We recommend backing up all your Artlantis files before beginning to work with this new version.
To install Artlantis 3 64-bit alpha version, Artlantis 3 32-bit version must be installed first, and serialized on the computer.
Limitations of the Artlantis 3 64-bit alpha version:
- The Import-Export plug-ins are not available. Files in formats other than .atl must be opened in Artlantis 3 32-bit version first and saved in the Artlantis native file format.
- Artlantis 3 32-bit version will not be able to open files saved in Artlantis 3 64-bit version any more.
- Artlantis 3 64-bit alpha version does not contain the Key-Server application.
For further information about the installation and compatibilities, please read the ReadMe document. Encountered bugs can be reported through the online Support Center.

In the meantime, please try Artlantis and get to know all the other, amazing features it offers!
have you ever tried to render something larger than a house ?
because i exported from archicad a serios 3d model and your stand alone render program dies the moment i ask it to render. the computers that i use are have pieces of machinery. for example this program is not able to use more than aprox 2G of RAM. i am very sorry to have lost the time learning this program.
yes its true artlantis is very heavy software.neons kills the pc. but it still is more better than other softwares becouse it is very easy to use and it is its key of success.thnx artlantis.
When are we going to get a plug-in for Revit 2011
There is a small problem. The alpha version don't support chinese file name.
Allenza -- We don't have a delivery date yet, nonetheless here's the workaround, to export the Revit project into DWF format (Artlantis opens this format). If you still have Revit 2010 installed, you can save your Revit 2011 project into a Revit 2010 project, and then open it into Revit 2010 and save into the ATL file format.
This version is incredibly fast! With a typical notebook PC with Windows 7, i7 and 8 GB of RAM, I'm now able to render movie clips at record speed compared to previous versions (couldn't handle the rather complex landscape). - But alas, I'm having problems with rendering still images - for some reason, JPEGs are deleted after completion - both from rendering within Artlantis 64-bit Alpha and with the Batch Renderer. Works with the TIF file format stored at the desktop, though.

@Wilhelm: Thank you for your comments. With regards to your JPEG issue, an outdated QuickTime version might cause this problem.
In the installed Artlantis folder there is a file called QTrenderer.exe that is responsible for converting the temporal rendered image to the final format.
We suggest installing QuickTime 7.6.6.
Artlantis u r way behind others programs try to fix your bug (neon shader, shines work well only on 1000 an decreasing very fast) and try to put some attention on the rendering speed and the computer needed for a rendering... its not enough to make a render in 15 minutes if u need a N.A.S.A computer
@Allenza -- the Revit 2011 plugins for Artlantis 2 and Artlantis 3 are available for downloading here:

Use the Modeler drop-down menu to find the Revit plugins.
Enjoy!
also it will be nice to have media like cars that can go with the wheels rotating, not dragging .... and hdri.
oh, and after testing... make an option to offset the camera frame like in maya, max and others. so it will be possible to do vertical/horizontal panning to the frame-without changing actual camera location. that's a basic need.
